The best “Chinese /Sushi place in town” is what they call Blossoms, a restaurant in Aruba’s Westin hotel. It is a dark, but cozy venue with a great Chinese ambiance. The salt-water aquarium and private dining areas are nice accents; and the girls are dressed in traditional Chinese dresses. There is large variety in their extensive Asian menu. The service was outstanding and the Benihana – style chefs look like martial arts fighters. However, they really know what they are doing, and they make sure you get your meat medium and they do listen when you tell them to “go slow on the garlic!” The sushi looks yummy but they were not all succulent and juicy. The General Tso is actually made with white meat and the taste is gorgeous, as is the flavor of the fish in ginger and scallions. Now, I am not content with the duck pancakes, as in my opinion they are a little dry. However, the duck was nice and crispy and the hoi sin sauce went very well with it. Desserts are not my favorite dishes in a Chinese restaurant so I will stick with the lychees. All together Blossoms is definitely worth a recommendation and deserves a 9 out of 10!
