Just a short 45 minute flight from JFK, is all it takes to land on one of the most stunning islands in the United States, Martha’s Vineyard, or as some know it, Kennedy Island. Private jets and the most awesome yachts are all over this small island. The bus is also an excellent way to travel around the island, and for a small $25 fee you can go to all the quaint little towns in the island such as Vineyard Haven, Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, Menemsha, Aquinnah. There is a nostalgic ferry to bring you to Chappaquiddick, a small island across Edgartown, where you can bicycle around the island. I have tried the fish and chips on this trip from several different venues but the one that deserving the best praise is from Nancy’s.
A small, gorgeous town north from the airport, Oak Bluffs is home to the dazzling restaurant, Nancy’s. Located right on the harbor you can enjoy a cocktail at sunset, indulge in an exclusive dinner in their fancy restaurant or you can munch on the most yummilicious fish and chips. I got to tell you, the white fish, cod, was nice and moist. The crust was crispy and flavorful, the chips were awesome, nice and crispy, and the tartar sauce was sublime. The best fish and chips with a killer view on the island I would say! Go check it out!
